Dale S. White - longtime friend of the Freymiller's and former coworker - passed away at University Hospital in Madison after sustaining serious injuries during an accident. The Freymiller workforce is still in complete shock as the news has yet to sink in. Dale (or "Sparky" as he preferred) was contagious in the sense that he had a zest for life and a passion of bringing smiles to each and every face that he saw. Don Freymiller also stated, "He was a very hard worker and NEVER complained about his job, no matter how bad it was. He never refused a load. He never delivered a load late." Don Freymiller, founder of Freymiller and companion of Sparky's, first worked with Dale at a packing company in Wisconsin. As time progressed and Don's vision of a transportation company became a reality, Sparky followed the Freymiller's to Bakersfield, California and drove a truck for the family company. Wouldn't you know that Sparky would again follow the Freymiller's to Oklahoma as the company settled down and took advantage of the newly acquired central location. Dale retired from Freymiller after working for them for 20 years, but frequently enjoyed visiting the personnel and drivers. Sparky was always a very happy person and never complained about anything. Upon hearing of his untimely death, many coworkers reminisced on his easy-going attitude and his love for his dog, Jack White. Where Sparky went, Jack went. The two were partners in crime and such a joy to see coming through the doors at Freymiller. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 17th at 7:00pm at the Melby-Bendorf Funeral Home and Crematory in Platteville, Wisconsin.
